The Paris March gathered between 400 to 500 people. The March originated at the old Vaugirard slaughterhouses to pay homage to the animals who died at the abattoirs, the very same site where Franju filmed a part of his documentary "Le sang des betes". Thereafter, the protesters returned to the Place Saint-Michel by passing through the streets of Vaugirard, de Rennes, and the boulevard St Germain.
The Castres March assembled approximately 60 people. The March started in Castres and ended in front of the city's slaughterhouses still in operation.
